To me this is what the season is all about. Beginning anew…fresh starts. And as it’s been a week since I’ve posted anything, I think this qualifies as a fresh start. :)
Life and young ones have returned to the clothes pin bag nest for Mr. and Mrs. Finch. I thought there were just going to be two new babies in the second batch, but amazingly I think I count four little noggins.
I think anyone would be hard pressed to say they’re cute at this point, but soon they’ll fledge out and be sweet little feathery cheeping bundles of joy. Not so much right now. But that’s also something this time of year represents for me. It’s a good time to reflect upon what we might see as ugly or flawed in ourselves and make changes to correct and improve the person we are on the inside so the person on the outside shines with beauty and grace from within.
Thank you all for hanging in there and supporting me through any changes I might need to make.

Yes this is the time when we think of changes, transitions, new beginnings or whatever one wants to call 'it'. Yes it is the time to say I am good but I can be better!! Yep! MB

You write with perception and wisdom, Ms Magpie--I mean that!
CHANGE, the most difficult, yet inevitable activity in all the Universe. From birth to death--And everything thereafter--no easy task.
Peeps like you, through writing of your experiences, help to make it less difficult. thank you!

How wonderful - four baby birds in the clothes pin bag! Okay, maybe not cute yet, but for sure very sweet!
Hmmm...you are feeling quite philosophical today? I was going to say - they aren't too cute. YET.
What cuties. Wait till they start chirping.
I think they are cute.
So glad you're back with all your words of wisdom ~ and a really fun photo to boot!
