How about a little…

protein with your sugar water?

This is a brand new feeder that Annie had just hung up earlier in the morning.  It didn’t take long for the ants to find it.

Or the wasps!!  See all the little ants bellied up to the bar enjoying a drink.

Oh my gosh!! You got ants but not in your pants. Ants and bees love the sweet stuff---maybe a little too much sugar in the mix??? MB

Oh yes, those little SOB's love the feeder. I hate ants right now. But the good thing is that hummers don't mind an insect or 10:) Get your drink and bug at the same time:)

Those ants are going to get soooo fat!

That stingy thing? We call those yellow jackets here.

Everyone is thirsty in the desert.

Did ants climb a ladder...or jump down from the ceiling?

NOTE: There is no thing as "too much sugar". Please make sure Annie knows that, too. She probably does--grin! Thanks! (Whew! Steve, gotta keep training-and-follow-up!)

PEACE!

I'll dream there's a Yellow Jacket under my pillow tonight!

That is a cute hummingbird! Nice capture. A little petroleum jelly on the string that it hangs from will help keep the ants away. (unless they are flying ants)
