Rainy days, grandmas, and cherubs…

Can you see it?  Do you know what it is?  Yes!  It’s rain and it’s falling on us here in the Valley of the Sun.  Wonder of wonders…

There is no devotion quite like that of a grandmother, who just got out of the hospital, understanding the need to stay connected with her grandson….even if it is raining.

I know you remember that little love-of-my-life who has stolen my heart….taken it captive….wrapped me firmly around his little finger….Justin.  He is now walking, waving goodbye, clapping and jabbering up a storm.

And, as you can see, learning to feed himself.  He is beyond words.

I hope you all have a blessed and happy Sunday enjoying your home, family and friends.

Oh, what big eyes you have, Justin! What a little honey!

Yeah, this weekend of rain has been unusual for us. Usually this time of year if it rains it's a giant monsoon with dust clouds and high winds with tree limbs breaking, etc. And having just come back from an area where the humidity is stupefying, it was actually a pleasant weekend in my view.

Ahhh, family time, can't beat it! For one thing, it sure makes you appreciate the alone time. LOL! I find myself unable to stop smiling when I have "mine family" with me. Love the rain shot! I thought it was snowing in Arizona!

Great rain shots. Is the rain warm when it fall in Arizona?
Grands are fun cuz you can send them home---well sometimes.
I have my 2 grand boys everyday during the summer and it is football practice so you know where I will be. School starts in a month. MB

MB - My daughter starts back to school tomorrow. The summer is over for her, but the heat will stay with us for most if not all of September. :)
