Today I went to a baby shower for my niece, Amanda, and her husband, Jeremy. This will be their first baby and will be a girl. Her name will be Shaelyn Faye and she may even be coming sooner than expected.

Look at that belly-- both mommy and baby are probably feeling ready for the birthday! I love my girls, but I'm sooooo glad I will never (God willing!) be pregnant again. It's so exciting, though. Congratulations!

Baby showers aren't common here. There's a superstition that makes us wait until baby is here to actually give presents...
