I’m back! I had a wonderful time in Strawberry with Annie.
We missed the blooming of the irises.
We had blue skies for most of the time. Saturday was cloudy in the morning and windy and cold all day.
But from Sunday on, the sun was bright and warm.
It was wonderful to spend the time away from responsibilities and to enjoy long talks with Annie and watch spooky movies, but it is always good to get home. I’ve been working hard to catch up with all yours posts. I’ve missed my blogging buddies!

I had some friends up in Greer and said it was chilly on Saturday. Sounds nice. Apparently there was some amazing wildlife going on....there are Bald Eagles in that area. I'd love to go up there sometime this summer. Glad you're home:)

Glad you had a nice retreat. I'm back too. It is always nice to go but nice to come home too. We had some wild wind last week up in Utah.
I love your picture of the aging iris. Who says there's no beauty in flowers past their prime. Strawberry sounds like a nice place to go. Glad you were able to relax and enjoy. It's always good to go home though. I'm looking forward to heading home again on Friday.
