The grass was getting kinda high and hubby came home from work to mow it. I had already made two trips out trying to get just the right picture. Third time was a charm…but now I’m all itchy. But on a positive note…I was able to lay down AND get up three times. Yippee! That’s progress and I’ll take all I can get.
My blogging buddy Lizzie at Bellingham Daily Photo posted a wonderful picture of grass and I told her I was going to give it a shot too. Now our grass is bermuda and only gets about six or seven inches tall. But I was game to try.
Click on Lizzie’s link above and you’ll see some really nice grass.

Bermuda grass....no wonder you are itchy! Nice and thick and green and don't you just love the smell of fresh cut grass?
Well at least you can get up and down---the foot must be better.
I like grasses until they get too tall--all the way up to you--what ever rhymes with grass. MB
Hooray for grass pictures! I love the grass in the second photo-- what is that stuff? I'm so glad your mobility is improving. It's important for photographers like us to be able to get down and look at things from a different angle (for great shots and for life, too.)! That's why I have holes in the knees of all my jeans.
MB got low, too-- her mind's in the gutter. ;-)
I was about to ask if you were laying on ground when you took this. I guess you were.
Fantastic shots! Really interesting point of view, it does look like a jungle.
These are the kinds of things I tend to overlook sometimes. Excellent shots.
makes me want to go walking bare foot...smiles.
I feel like an animal on the prowl all of a sudden! :-)
went back a post..noticed tracy is not posting...she is just taking a break?
