Cotton is a big crop for Arizona and some fields are ready to be picked. Depending on when crops were put out, what kind of cotton it is, and the weather, there will be cotton being picked right into and maybe through December.
I’m hoping to head out tomorrow (by myself) and get some pictures taken. Haven’t got a clue where I might end up. Annie has been teaching me to “fly by the seat of my pants” in life, so I’ll be taking her advice.
Happy Weekend!

That's alot of Levis!
When I was a little girl I thought these were fields of flowers!
I get my best picture-taking done when I'm off by myself. I start feeling guilty asking somebody else to maybe stop here, can you wait while I try a different angle, etc. Of course, I don't have a good picture-taking buddy like you do to accompany me. So have fun!
nice...i have walked the cotton fields back in the day...not a lot of fun to pick...cool deal...
freezing here today...
That's wonderful! Have fun picture taking wherever you end up. :)
Scenic picture! One of the five c's sadly disappearing.
Good morning allergies!
Love seeing the cotton ready to pick. My husband picked cotton once way, way back when he was in high school. He said it was very hard work. Now they have those big machines that get the job done in no time.
Happy photo hunting!
I've never seen cotton ready for picking. Maybe it'll still be there when we head to AZ in Nov. Here's hoping.
Cool picture and I am waiting to see more. Cotton----yep!

Look at that beautiful Arizona "snow"! I can't wait to see your adventure photos!
Hey,
I had ever been hunting before and like you I always carry a camera. I don't carry a rifle or shoot anything. AND I won't watch anything get shot--ick!!! But this was interesting and even (for me) educational.. I apologize if I offended in any way. MB
