Spring is sprung, the birds are singing…

I know I’m a little early, but it’s been so beautiful here lately. We had rain again last night and everything is turning lush and green. It is a little chilly out there today, but that’s part of spring too isn’t it?

This is a Black Phoebe I saw at Friendship Park today while I was taking pictures of the statuary and obviously, birds.

 

This handsome pair were just shooting the breeze and quacking away about nothing much.

 

Oh dear, it appears someone’s lost their head. Not to worry, just doing some preening and fluffing. I won’t tell you what the other fellow did right after I took this shot.

 

  Then there’s always a shy one that wants to hide.

Greg was very nice and patient about driving me around today so I could get some pictures. We had a nice time while I got out and took pictures and he waited in the car. I keep telling him it’s not shorts weather yet.
