With Tracy’s help and guidance, I’ve been playing around with some HDR photos. Here is one that I’ve managed to save as a JPEG and can download here.
I’ve enjoyed doing this and plan on getting some more shots and playing around some more. I need to study the program I’m using and see if I can save the pictures in a format other than TIFF.

The image is stunning and that looks like a cool place to visit!
I'm like Brian - I hear HDR and I'm ignorant. There is an HDR function on Picnik but it makes my photos look garish so I guess I'm not doing something right. Maybe you can enlighten us on this technique, because I do like this photo.
Beautiful shot with some intense colors! I'd love to learn to do this but, I think I may need a new computer in order to get started. Or maybe I just need to get this one cleaned up by one of those geek squad guys.
Beautiful, Magpie!
Oh, you're one of those people who actually learns the features of their camera and uses them accordingly. Huh. I thought we were more alike.
Well, regardless, you should keep learning-- this photo is so beautifully brilliant and vivid!
So what exactly did you do? Is the pic any different than an original? I am clueless here. MB
That is amazing! Is this in the West Valley?
This picture is very artistic, I'm enchanted by your composition. The place is beautiful!
