Just an assortment of photos from the lake.
She was a beauty and full of eggs. We put her back.
Not everything flying over the lake was a bird.
“Let’s go faster, Dad!”
Saw this while stopping for gas in Cave Creek on the way to the lake.
You can tell it was a dusty drive to the lake. Peace out!

Looks like so much fun!
Fish for dinner? Love the Peace out!
nice size fish there...all looks like you had a great time!
This is what memories are made of.
Super fun shots.
BTW: I have gotten caught in the middle of the Geese before. I was in the road with geese in fields on either side of me when all at once they rose in flight and flew over the car and actually traded places. The noise was tremendous. They always honk and squawk when they fly. It was thrilling. A plus is---they don't poop when they fly--a handy bit of trivia. LOL MB MB
And a good time was had by all!
Wow! Certainly not things we see every day. :)
Great shots-- I love the green wings against the blue sky. You know what my favorite part was, though? Seeing someone wearing a t-shirt! I can only dream of the day!
Have you read "The Fish" by Elizabeth Bishop? Throwing back a fish always makes me think of that poem now.
A thoroughly enjoyable series of life...in photos.
MAGPIE, in ref to your question on my blog, whether I think (addictive tendencies) are inherited...
OK, we have 100 people. 40 of them believe Yes, 40 believe No. Each group has evidence supporting their claim, and arguments abound. People get excited, etc. If I join either of those 'sides' I'll tend to forget WHY I am here (in AA, and happy, etc.)
So there are 20 of us who say "Who cares?" We leave that to the scientists, researchers, and those who 'know' but really do not. And we stay sober one day at a time, and proceed to grow spiritually, and help others along the way.
Hope that answers your Q.
Thank for asking, though, it gave me opportunity to clarify this in my own mind.
PEACE and J O Y !!!!
I'd like a car like the red one please!
