Snap, crackle, pop…

DSC_0025

Sometimes ideas and worries go snap, crackle, pop through my brain like fireworks.  That usually happens when I’m trying to stay on top of something that threatens to undermine my hard-worked for peace and serenity.  That has been the case lately, but today I am happy to say that “I feel so fluffy!!!”  Light and lifted up and that’s a good thing.  I had a colonoscopy today that was weighing heavy on my mind.  A recent CT scan showed a mass on my appendix and I’m waiting for surgery to remove one of the last two expendable parts I have left in my body…I could give you a kidney, but one of them has a benign cyst on it…you might not want that one.  And this procedure today would show if I had more to worry about. I DON’T!  The surgery will still be not much fun and I will still have to worry about a biopsy of the appendix, but I feel like life is good and all things are in place for a great outcome.

Now I can focus again on that peace and serenity and with all the friends and family I have who know how to support and encourage me, I know I’m going to be fine.

I'm so glad you feel fluffy! haha...fabulously fluffy. What a relief!

Oh, I could tell you a joke about feeling fluffy! But I won't do that in such a public forum. In the meantime, I couldn't be happier about your good news. Good things are always worth waiting for, right?

I had to smile at the line about "expendable parts" I think I only have one of those left myself.
I am impressed about the Kindle, I am still a hold out for the old stuff but have been checking them out more all the time. Keep us up to date on how you like it.

So glad to hear you are dealing with the health issues.

I worried more about health--well MY health--during middle life. After 70, I got cancer and other things, and have dealt with all as they occur, and life is so much more peaceful.

Song:
"Don't You hurry, Worry Me...
Who cares what time it is
When thee climate is
Warm as the tropical sea..."

Even if never before, now is the time (today--for anyone--grin!) to deal with what IS, and move right along, looking to be of help to others. (Hence, no Snap, Crackle, Pop! For TODAY!)

See, this is what I mean. You are all compassionate, caring people. That is an important part of my life. I see good things in my future and help with the things that aren't so good.
