I really like the color on these objects. The blue sky and the red headed bird are such a nice splash of color.
Make that three for color! Not that your B&W pictures weren't good. I've just never been a fan much of B&W. I mean, even Ansel Adams doesn't really impress me. :-)
usually i like b&w but i like the color in these...
brotin...probably next weekend...i am also working on recruiting some other authors for a summer project i am calling "duets"...where i will tag team with some of the best of the blogosphere...kinda like brotin.
the first and the third photos look great both ways. As for the second, it's so different. The b&w adds a feeling of gloominess almost pain to the sky, but the colored version looks really ordinary. mostly, natural landscapes look way better with colors, this photo is an exception. b&w looks better with symmetrical scenes, like, a group of people standing, waiting for something, a messy room, stuff like that. Because, as I told you before, b&w just adds depth to things. Nature as deep already. TEll me what you think, I'm not really an expert!
I always prefer color for most things, but sometimes I like sepia for old buildings. B&W was my favorite medium for awhile, and I loved doing clouds and especially cold winter snowfalls in black and white. I love the colors on your snail and bird! xxoo

I think I like the color best. Who would have known the snail had an orange tummy and the cute bird is not so cute in B&W. MB
