Sorry…

Sorry, I’ve been an absent blogger these last few days. So much to do right now.

I have been working on something to post, but calls and emergencies keep pulling me away.  I’m looking forward to some downtime today….maybe.  :)

Don’t write me off. Please  keep checking…I’d miss you all more than I can say if you stopped coming by to visit.  I’ll leave you with this picture of something you know I love….flowers.

I was just telling Bill last night I was kind of worried about you. Immediately I thought of your Mom, but I didn't want to call and bother you if you were in the middle of something important. I hope your MIL is okay, and I'm glad you are okay.

The best thing about blogging is that when you come back, it's still there waiting! :) Glad you are doing alright and are just busy!

So beautiful and delicate. A good choice for a busy day.

I know you're a voracious reader and I see your note about having trouble getting into anything right now. In addition to all my chores on the farm, I managed to read seven books on my trip. I highly recommend Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls (author of The Glass Castle), The Help by Kathryn Stockett, The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. I also read the first two Stieg Larsson books of his best-selling trilogy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire. The third book, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest, is not available in paperback yet.

Those are beautiful photos. I've taken several breaks and the blog is always here when I return. Good luck with whatever you've got going on.

Summertime does that to me, too. There is so much to do when I'm off work that I have trouble giving myself the freedom to do things that seem "unnecessary" until everything is done, which sometimes as you know, is NEVER. Glad you're back!
